If the SendGuard menu is missing from your Outlook ribbon, the add-in may be disabled by Outlook, not installed correctly, or not activated. You can check and resolve this by following the steps below.
Method 1: Re-enable a Disabled Add-in
The SendGuard add-in may have been disabled by Outlook. To re-enable it:
- In Outlook, go to File > Info.
- Click on Manage Disabled Items (or Disabled Items in some versions).
- If SendGuard is listed, select it and click Enable.
- Restart Outlook for the change to take effect.
Method 2: Check COM Add-ins
If the menu is still missing, verify the add-in is active in your settings:
- In Outlook, go to File > Options.
- Select Add-ins.
- At the bottom of the window, in the Manage dropdown, select COM Add-ins and click Go.
- In the list that appears, check the box next to SendGuard.
- Click OK and restart Outlook.
Method 3: Reinstall SendGuard If the above steps do not solve the problem, the installation may be corrupted. Please try reinstalling the SendGuard software. If the issue persists, contact us at
